EID

After Ramadan I hope everyone is feeling spiritually lifted. The element of friends and family gathering to celebrate together.. That's if we can all agree to do it on the same day, is just what you need, what better way to celebrate by gather everyone together.. certainly doesn't happen everyday!

For someone who doesn't really wear a lot of India outfits - Eid is a great opportunity to doll myself up. Now I don't normally wear red but this outfit just stood out to me, mostly because of the black velvet combo that I fell in love with.

Of course, as a girl, in any event I look forward to getting dolled up, sorting out my jewellery, heels etc. Luckily for me, my mum has a good eye for Asian attire so she picks my suits, I just let her do her thing.

I paired this Indian outfit with red velvet sling back heels and a black satin clutch - it was a fairly simple outfit but just perfect for the evening dinner plans I had. My idea of accessorising was go keep it minimalistic. Hence the only jewellery piece I wore was the stunning Rose Flower Drop Earrings from www.norenzo.com

I hope you all throughly enjoyed your Eid! Xx
