Eid OOTD // 2016

First off, Eid Mubarak everyone, I hope you had a very happy and joyous Eid! For those who weren't celebrating Eid, I hope you had a wonderful weekend!
celebrated Eid over the weekend with family, friends and lots of food! Eid is a wonderful reason to get dressed up, pray and enjoy spending time with everyone.

It feel like ages since I've done an outfit post, it's hard to get OOTD picture (outfit of the day) when I'm always travelling on my own.. perhaps I should start asking strangers to snap some pics of me.. maybe something to consider, but it could be awkward ..haha... Anyways back to this OOTD post -  so I don't dress up in traditional clothing often, the only time I would make an effort to dress up in traditional clothing is Eid or a wedding.. which is once in a blue moon

For Eid this year I wore a red outfit embellished with gold work.
I didn't plan to wear this outfit for Eid as I basically found this outfit on a whim while on holiday in Dubai. One evening while on holiday, I realised I had to go out for a dinner reception and needed a traditional outfit. I stumbled upon a stunning red and gold outfit in Tia Fashion, which really stood out to me. What really sold me was that there was no scarf, so I liked that it was traditional with a contemporary twist. I'm normally not a fan of red but this outfit was just too cute to resist.
The fabric is soft and comfortable with a barely there feeling, the trousers were easy to wear legging, as the top is long it complemented the fact that the trouser were leggings. As you can see the outfit had stunning gold work that sparkled in the sun on the sleeves and neck.

I accessorised this look with a velvet burgundy clutch from Oasis and my most trusted black RockStud Valentino Heels.
I'm normally not a fan of red but this outfit is just too cute to resist.
I hope you all had a blessed Eid with family and friends, whenever you are in the world!
