Afternoon Tea at Euston Square

Last month, it was one of my best friends 23rd Birthday, and we've always planned on going for afternoon tea, so we finally booked The Wellcome Kitchen in Euston Square.  Wellcome Kitchen is located with Wellcome Collection on the second floor, opposite the stunning Reading Room. It's the perfect space to relax and unwind (wish i found this place sooner!!)

This was our very first afternoon tea experience and it was really relaxing and wonderful. Our afternoon tea menu consisted of a tea pot of choice, selection of finger sandwiches, jam/cream for the scones and a section of delicious cakes.
The finger sandwiches and cakes were all so scrumptious.. I ate them ALL. Initially i didn't think afternoon tea nibbles would fill me up, but i was wrong, we had the right amount of sandwiches, cakes and tea, by the end of it i was surprised how filling it was.

After our afternoon tea, we spent a few hours exploring the many corners of the exhibitions - medicine man, States of mind: Tracing the edges of consciousness and so many more.

My Outfit:

I wore a smart black lace Peplum top and gorgeous patterned trousers from H&M. As it was a bit nippy outside I paired my peplum top with a black H&M workwear blazer. As my outfit colours were quite monotone, I accessoried with Blue. I wore my favourite Blue Suede Kurt Geiger Heels and my Blue satin Naraya bag (purchased in Dubai a few years ago).

My accessories included an Armani Exchange Gold watch with blue dial, Astrid & Miyu ring and 'S' bracelet. I wore '10 nude sweet nude' by Essence on my nails, NYX's beautiful soft matte lip cream in 'Rome' and styled my hair with Natural World's 'Argon Oil of Morocco.'

Overall, I enjoyed my afternoon tea experience at Wellcome Kitchen and would recommend it to anyone. It's a lovely place to have some peace and quiet and just catch up with company.

So grateful for my amazing besties! The afternoon was perfect, always a good time when we get together <3

Have you attended afternoon tea? Where would you recommend I go next?
