Monday Motivation || '....there is light despite the darkness'

At some point in our life we’re going to experience things that get us down and we'll see the world as an unfriendly and unhappy place to be. 

We need to take a step back and remember whatever challenges we're facing, we can face the world with a little more colour. We need to always leave room for HOPE because only you have the power to overcome these situations.
If you do feel like you can’t escape and you’re in an unhappy place, here are some tips to push through those feeling:  

1 ) Look at the positives
In every situation we are programmed to look at the negatives, so we forget that in every bad situation there is something good to take away from it. 

Truthfully, I never used to look at the positives, but recently I always try to look at the bright side of things. Life is a learning experience, a roller coaster of ups and downs, it's too short for negativity. 

Negativity gets you nowhere and leaves you miserable. So start your day by thinking of 5 positive things in your life. 

2 ) Reinforce the positivity
Since I've been writing my 'Monday Motivation', I've been feeling so much more positive. I realised that the more I read, write and speak about positivity I feel so much happier. 

Sometimes a pep talk in the morning in front of the mirror is the best way to start your day. Sometimes it's hard to find the positives as we're always focusing on the negatives but nothings impossible. 

Remember we all have positive attributes, so why not write some points down of what you like about yourself or what you're good at.

3 ) Spend time with the special people in your life
We get so caught up in our daily lives that we don't realise how long it's been since we've caught up with a friend, family member or even partner. Sometimes the feeling of reconnecting with someone special can uplift your spirit and make you forget why you were feeling so down in the beginning. 

My advice to you today is to get your diary out, pick a date and reward yourself with those who know you best. Trust me it'll be worth it.

4 ) Share your positivity 
Since I’ve been trying to keep upto date with my blogging I've felt so much more motivated and positive. I really hope my posts make even the tiniest difference to you day! 

With positivity you’re not going to be able to resolve everyones problems but at least you’ll be able to lend a helping hand. We may not see it but everyone has their own problems, they may not want to share it but behind closed doors every one needs a helping hand.

So why not brighten someones day and give them a reason to feel positive. There are so many ways to share positivity; a simple smile, a good morning text, offering to help a colleague/family member,    checking up on someone - the list is endless. Even the smallest action you do today can brighten someones day.

If you're ever feeling down, I hope that you always remember there is light at the end of the tunnel and to never give up on yourself!
